Liverpool winger Ryan Babel has reportedly expressed his anger at Rafael Benitez, the Liverpool manager, for not giving him the match minutes ‘he was promised’. He has told reporters that he was told he would get more minutes at the club than before but after just one defeat, he lost his place in the club team.

The 22 year-old Dutchman was signed for 11.5 million pounds in 2007 by the Premier League side Liverpool, but has since failed to make regular appearances for the club. He now wants a solution that allows him to get enough match practice before the FIFA football world cup finals in South Africa in 2010. His team, Netherlands, have already qualified for the football world cup. The Liverpool football club has agreed to review the situation in January and don’t be surprised if the winger spends half a season with Ajax next year.

Mark Widuka could join West Ham any moment now. He has left Newcastle United and at the moment does not represent any football club at the English Premier League. FA rules and regulations allow him to join any club outside the transfer window. The 33 year-old striker rejected the Portsmouth deal and could not agree to the terms and conditions put forward by the Fulham football club.

Benjani failed to join West Ham as he preferred joining his former Manchester city boss at Notts county.

After a loan move to Burnley did not materialize, Daniel cousin could well leave Hull as well. Due to championship’s regulations, he will now have to drop down a division and could well move to Cardiff on loan. The relegation to a lower division will be a great blow to his English Premier League dreams.
